We take care of our clients. You are more to us than just a property owner.
Some of you approach us with an apartment building or multi-residential property that needs to be managed. Others need a single family dwelling looked after. Some clients want full property management services, and others need help only with enlisting quality residents for their vacancies.
Our commitment is to help as much or as little as is required by you, ultimately making your life easier. We treat your investment property like it is our own. We do this through years of experience, and a bona fide care for each landlord, tenant, and property. Our goal is to create happy, healthy, safe, and positive living environments.
When we achieve that goal, the effect is always an excellent and long-term landlord, tenant, and
management relationship.
Tonya Brubacher
Meet Tonya, the fearless leader and founder of My Girl Friday, a property management company with a difference. Born and raised in Northern Ontario, Tonya spent 6.5 years traveling the world, immersing herself in different cultures and communities. She discovered her passion for connecting with people and building community, which ultimately led her to start My Girl Friday.
Tonya saw firsthand how "broken" traditional management companies were and knew she could do better by putting people first. Her approach is simple: treat people the way she would want to be treated. And it's working! Her first client came to her with 8 units and, after everyone loved her, her name quickly got passed around.
The most rewarding part of Tonya's work is building relationships and connections with people, creating reputations with contractors, and helping people find housing that improves their quality of life. Tonya's background in private sale real estate and knack for general contracting have also come in handy, as she loves leading restoration projects and coordinating trades.
When Tonya isn't busy being an adrenaline junkie and enjoying her passions for kayaking, camping, and climbing, she's cheering on her hockey player son, Grey. With Tonya at the helm, My Girl Friday is revolutionizing the property management industry and making a positive impact on the lives of many.
Hope Kole
Meet Hope, the end-to-end property management pro with a fun-loving attitude and a knack for making things happen! With a background in Geophysics and a Masters in Geomatics, Hope brings a unique perspective to the property management game. But don't let her technical background fool you, she's also a certified people person with a post-grad certificate in Project Management and Global Business Management from Conestoga.
With 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry in Nigeria, Hope knows a thing or two about getting things done. And when she arrived in Canada, she brought her can-do attitude to the property management scene, where she's been helping owners and tenants alike find their perfect match for the past several years. Hope is a true professional, always detail-oriented and constantly pursuing excellence. She's the middle-person between owners and contractors, and she's always on top of things to make sure turnovers happen faster than owners could have done on their own. And when it comes to tenants, Hope is all about making sure they're satisfied with their new digs.
When she's not arranging viewings or filling out applications, you can find Hope volunteering with Junior Achievement, the Sexual Assault Support Centre, and as an English teacher at KW Multicultural Centre. In her free time, she loves reading and watching movies (her favorite series is Game of Thrones!). And, she's always up for a good chat, so if you see her out and about, don't hesitate to say hi and swap stories.
